Replacement Guide

Replacement Conveyor Belt Risk Checklist

Replacement belt projects often fail because the old belt is measured incompletely. This checklist helps maintenance teams and distributors reduce mismatch risk before quotation.

Risk Points

What Must Be Checked Before Quotation

The goal is not to collect perfect information. The goal is to identify the dimensions and structure details that control fit, running stability, and delivery risk.

1. Belt Identity

Product family, old belt photos, machine type, application, material grade, and whether it is friction-driven or positively driven.

2. Critical Dimensions

Width, length, pitch, rod diameter, wire diameter, mesh opening, edge detail, side plate size, and turning direction.

3. Matching Parts

Sprocket tooth profile, shaft bore, keyway, drum diameter, cage bar condition, and existing component photos.

4. Failure Symptoms

Tracking issue, broken rods, edge wear, weld failure, product marking, cleaning issue, or repeated service life problem.

5. Delivery Risk

Urgency, shutdown window, packing requirement, shipping country, and whether third-party inspection is needed.

6. Verification Path

Drawing review, photo comparison, sample confirmation, production inspection, and final packing check before shipment.
