Page 2. BEFORE WE SHIP What we check before shipment 1 Polishing marksRemove dark residue and reinspect the tooth surfaces. 2 Plastic boreAssess bore damage and replace affected parts when required. 3 Plastic facesCheck scratches. Protect each plastic part separately during packing. 4 Tooth burrsDeburr tooth edges and reinspect the finish. 5 Bore burrsInspect the bore and remove burrs before a further check. 6 Plastic edgesInspect burrs and dirt. Clean, assess and recheck. 7 Bore sizeMeasure the shaft interface against the component drawing. 8 Overall thicknessCheck the complete component thickness and hub requirements. 9 KeywayConfirm the keyway for this shaft and sprocket variant. 1–6: quality reference examples. 7–9: project inspection records. Reference examples show inspection topics, not defects attributed to the projects in this book.
Page 3. WHAT BUYERS ASK Five questions answered by actual order records 3 projects, shown through drawings and manufacturing photographs. Buyer question What this casebook shows Pages Can belt and sprockets be reviewed together? Separate drawings within one supply project. 5 Which shaft dimension is checked? A bore measurement and component thickness record. 6 Can different sprockets share a tooth count? Two eye-link variants with different bores and keyways. 7–8 What changes for a nylon component? Square-bore and thickness records for a specific drawing. 9–10 What must be confirmed for my equipment? Belt, tooth, bore, fixing, material and operating details. 11–12 Quality checks: page 2. Our manufacturing process: page 4. Project records follow.
Page 4. OUR PROCESS From drawing review to inspection and packing Our order controls. The following cases show the available project records. # Stage What we do What you receive or approve 1 Project review Review drawings, application and equipment interfaces. Questions to confirm 2 Specification Confirm dimensions, material and supply scope. Agreed specification 3 Drawing approval Use the approved drawing revision for manufacture. Your drawing approval 4 Trial and first article Trial production, then first-article confirmation. First-article records 5 Production Coordinate specialist component manufacture to the drawing. Production records 6 Final inspection 100% final inspection before packaging. Agreed inspection records 7 Inner protection Apply protection appropriate to the material and order. Packing requirements 8 Outer packing Check the package, identification and dispatch documents. Packing and dispatch records How you can check: agree the component drawing, shaft interface and inspection records before ordering.
Page 5. PROJECT 1 · BELT AND SPROCKETS A belt and four sprockets supplied as one project The buyer's check: component selection starts with the belt and shaft interfaces. What we supplied The order includes separate technical drawings for the chain-driven belt and four SUS304 sprockets. The project photographs show both parts of the supply. The project belt One supplied sprocket How you can check: review the belt and component drawings together. Sprocket manufacture uses a specialist external process.
Page 6. PROJECT 1 · BORE AND THICKNESS The bore and overall thickness have measured records The buyer's check: a matching outside appearance does not establish the shaft fit. What we checked The sprocket drawing specifies a 20 mm bore and 22 mm overall thickness. The project photographs record both checks on the supplied components. Bore-diameter measurement Overall-thickness measurement How you can check: confirm the required tolerances and shaft details before accepting the dimensions.
Page 7. PROJECT 2 · TWO SPROCKET VARIANTS Two 12-tooth sprockets with different shaft interfaces The buyer's check: tooth count alone does not identify the correct component. What we supplied The eye-link project has separate sprocket drawings for 85 mm and 70 mm bores. Both specify 12 teeth, but their outside diameters, hubs and keyways differ. One sprocket variant in the project The second variant from the same project How you can check: match every sprocket drawing to the intended belt and shaft.
Page 8. PROJECT 2 · KEYWAY CHECKS Different keyways are checked on the two variants The buyer's check: shaft fixing needs its own dimensional review. What we checked The drawings specify 22 mm and 20 mm keyway widths for the two variants. Both keyway measurements appear in the project photographs. Keyway-width measurement on the larger-bore variant Keyway-width measurement on the other variant How you can check: review keyway depth, width and fixing details with the shaft drawing.
Page 9. PROJECT 3 · NYLON SPROCKET A nylon component with a specified square bore The buyer's check: material and shaft geometry are project-specific selections. What we supplied Revision 02 of this drawing specifies a nylon sprocket with a 40 by 40 mm square bore, 50 mm overall thickness and approximately 150 mm outside diameter. Square-bore nylon sprocket from the project Tooth and component-thickness view How you can check: confirm the material grade, temperature and operating conditions for your own application.
Page 10. PROJECT 3 · MEASURED INTERFACES Square bore and thickness are recorded separately The buyer's check: the two shaft directions and component thickness must be clear. What we checked The shipment photographs record the square-bore width and overall thickness. The drawing also identifies the belt dimensions intended for this project. Square-bore width measurement Overall-thickness measurement How you can check: review the complete interface drawing; these dimensional photos do not establish a running-test result.
Page 11. YOUR NEXT PROJECT The records your team can review before ordering Different decision-makers need different evidence from the same project. Review role What to confirm for your order Next step Your maintenance team Confirm the shaft, belt interface and existing equipment. Drawing review Your equipment designer Review the belt and its drive interface together. Interface review Your quality team Agree inspection points, tolerances and required material documents. Evidence agreed Your purchasing team Confirm variants, lengths and delivery requirements per order. Order review Your distributor or service team Link every photo and drawing to the correct belt variant. Clear handover Next step: send the component drawing, shaft interface and matching belt details for review.
