Page 2. BEFORE WE SHIP What we check before shipment 1 Strip scratchesReview visible scratches. Rework or replace strips as the assessment requires. 2 Finish referenceCompare strip surfaces with the agreed finish and inspection criteria. 3 Junction gapsMeasure the junction gap against project requirements. No universal limit applies. 4 Overall widthKeep separate width records for each variant. 5 Strip heightVerify strip height against the current drawing. 6 Rod pitchCheck rod pitch independently of strip height. 7 Edge retentionReview the rods and edge connection before wrapping. 8 First articleRecord dimensions at the first-article stage. 9 Before dispatchRepeat the agreed checks on the finished belt. 1–3: quality reference examples. 4–9: project inspection records. Reference examples show inspection topics, not defects attributed to the projects in this book.

Page 3. WHAT BUYERS ASK Five questions answered by actual order records 3 projects, shown through drawings and manufacturing photographs. Buyer question What this casebook shows Pages How are two belt widths controlled? Separate width records within one manufacturing project. 5–6 Which strip and rod dimensions matter? Measured close-ups tied to the project drawing. 7 Can I review first article and finished belt? Photographs from both stages of a separate order. 8–9 Does another width use the same pitch? A third project with its own rod-pitch specification. 10–11 What is needed for my order? Width, strip, rod, edge and operating information. 12–13 Quality checks: page 2. Our manufacturing process: page 4. Project records follow.

Page 4. OUR PROCESS From drawing review to inspection and packing Our order controls. The following cases show the available project records. # Stage What we do What you receive or approve 1 Project review Review drawings, application and equipment interfaces. Questions to confirm 2 Specification Confirm dimensions, material and supply scope. Agreed specification 3 Drawing approval Use the approved drawing revision for manufacture. Your drawing approval 4 Trial and first article Trial production, then first-article confirmation. First-article records 5 Production Manufacture to the approved drawing and first article. Production records 6 Final inspection 100% final inspection before packaging. Agreed inspection records 7 Inner protection Apply protection appropriate to the material and order. Packing requirements 8 Outer packing Check the package, identification and dispatch documents. Packing and dispatch records For formal replacement: physical old belt, available drawings and equipment details, followed by remeasurement and structural review.

Page 5. PROJECT 1 · TWO WIDTHS Two widths manufactured under one project The buyer's check: variant identification matters even when the construction is shared. What we made The project drawings specify SUS304 belts with overall widths of 404 and 508 mm. The 404 mm variant is specified at 60 m. Both share a washer-welded edge construction. Finished flat-wire belt structure A second view of the project belt and edge How you can check: compare the individual variant drawing with its own inspection record.

Page 6. PROJECT 1 · WIDTH MEASUREMENT Each width has a corresponding measured photograph The buyer's check: one width check cannot represent both variants. What we checked The drawings separate the 404 mm and 508 mm overall widths. The photo set includes a ruler check of each manufactured width. Overall-width check for the 404 mm variant Overall-width check for the 508 mm variant How you can check: specify overall width, opening count and the intended measurement reference.

Page 7. PROJECT 1 · STRIP AND ROD Strip height and rod pitch are checked independently The buyer's check: the grid appearance alone does not define belt geometry. What we checked The drawings specify 12.7 mm strip height and 27.4 mm rod pitch. The close-ups record these two dimensions on the manufactured belt. Strip-height measurement Rod-pitch measurement How you can check: include strip thickness, strip height, rod diameter and rod pitch in the drawing review.

Page 8. PROJECT 2 · FIRST ARTICLE TO SHIPMENT A 530 mm belt documented at two production stages The buyer's check: the finished belt should remain identifiable against the first article. What we recorded This separate order specifies a SUS304 belt with 530 mm overall width, 35 openings and washer-welded edges. Its records include first-article and finished-belt photographs. First-article belt layout Finished belt in the shipment photo set How you can check: review the same drawing and variant at first article and before dispatch.

Page 9. PROJECT 2 · REPEATED MEASUREMENT The 24 mm rod pitch is recorded at both stages The buyer's check: a repeated check should refer to the same structural feature. What we checked The drawing specifies 24 mm rod pitch. The first-article and shipment photographs both record this dimension on the assembled belt. Rod-pitch check in the first-article record Rod-pitch check in the shipment record How you can check: agree the inspection points and tolerances before production begins.

Page 10. PROJECT 3 · A SEPARATE CONFIGURATION A 350 mm belt with its own strip and opening layout The buyer's check: a narrower belt is not defined by width alone. What we made This order specifies a SUS304 belt with 350 mm overall width, 23 openings, 1.2 mm strip thickness and 3 mm rods. The photo record shows the finished belt and width check. Finished belt before packing Overall-width measurement How you can check: compare the full configuration with your existing belt, including edge treatment.

Page 11. PROJECT 3 · PROJECT-SPECIFIC PITCH This order uses a different rod pitch The buyer's check: pitch values from another project must not be copied automatically. What we checked The 350 mm belt drawing specifies 13.7 mm rod pitch and 1.2 mm strip thickness. Its photographs record both dimensions. 13.7 mm rod-pitch check Strip-thickness check How you can check: send the actual belt drawing or sample so the dimensions can be reviewed for your order.

Page 12. YOUR NEXT PROJECT The records your team can review before ordering Different decision-makers need different evidence from the same project. Review role What to confirm for your order Next step Your maintenance team Confirm width, belt geometry and existing equipment. Drawing review Your equipment designer Review the belt and its drive interface together. Interface review Your quality team Agree inspection points, tolerances and required material documents. Evidence agreed Your purchasing team Confirm variants, lengths and delivery requirements per order. Order review Your distributor or service team Link every photo and drawing to the correct belt variant. Clear handover Next step: send drawings and equipment details. Photos support preliminary review.
