Page 2. BEFORE WE SHIP What we check before shipment 1 Belt assemblyReview the complete plate, chain and rod arrangement. 2 Surface and edgesCompare plate surfaces and edge details with the agreed specification. 3 Overall widthIdentify the correct width reference before measuring. 4 Second variantKeep each variant and its width record separate. 5 Plate thicknessVerify plate thickness against the drawing. 6 Side guardsMeasure the side guards independently of the carrying plates. 7 Chain pitchConfirm chain pitch separately from plate geometry. 8 Cross rodsMeasure cross-rod diameter on the assembled belt. 9 RollersDocument the specified roller dimension before dispatch. Project inspection records. These photographs illustrate checks on manufactured belts. Inspection acceptance follows the approved drawing and project requirements.
Page 3. WHAT BUYERS ASK Five questions answered by actual order records One project, shown through drawings and manufacturing photographs. Buyer question What this casebook shows Pages How is the assembly documented? Finished-belt views show plate and chain construction. 5 Which width does the drawing mean? Overall, chain-centre and useful width are separated. 6 Are guards and plates the same thickness? Separate measured records for the two features. 7 How is the drive edge checked? Chain-pitch and rod measurements on the assembly. 8 Can I compare production stages? Roller checks at first article and shipment. 9 Quality checks: page 2. Our manufacturing process: page 4. Project records follow.
Page 4. OUR PROCESS From drawing review to inspection and packing Our order controls. The following cases show the available project records. # Stage What we do What you receive or approve 1 Project review Review drawings, application and equipment interfaces. Questions to confirm 2 Specification Confirm dimensions, material and supply scope. Agreed specification 3 Drawing approval Use the approved drawing revision for manufacture. Your drawing approval 4 Trial and first article Trial production, then first-article confirmation. First-article records 5 Production Manufacture to the approved drawing and first article. Production records 6 Final inspection 100% final inspection before packaging. Agreed inspection records 7 Inner protection Apply protection appropriate to the material and order. Packing requirements 8 Outer packing Check the package, identification and dispatch documents. Packing and dispatch records For formal replacement: physical old belt, available drawings and equipment details, followed by remeasurement and structural review.
Page 5. ONE PROJECT · TWO WIDTHS Two plate-belt widths, with separate technical drawings The buyer's check: the plates, guards and chains form one equipment interface. What we made One project specifies two SUS304 plate belts with 257.2 mm and 282 mm overall widths. Both drawings define the plates, side guards, cross rods and large-roller chains. Assembled plate belt in the shipment records Plate surface and side-chain assembly How you can check: review the complete assembly rather than selecting by plate width alone.
Page 6. WIDTH · MEASUREMENT REFERENCES Overall width is not the same as useful carrying width The buyer's check: a width description must say which part of the assembly is measured. What we checked The drawings distinguish overall width from approximate chain-centre and useful widths. The shipment photographs show the overall-width checks for both variants. Overall-width check on the 257.2 mm variant Overall-width check on the 282 mm variant How you can check: identify carrying width, chain centres and overall width separately.
Page 7. PLATE · SIDE GUARD Plates and side guards have separate thickness checks The buyer's check: guard details influence the assembly and clearance. What we checked The drawings specify 2 mm plates and 2.5 mm side guards. The inspection photographs record the two thicknesses separately. Plate-thickness measurement Side-guard thickness measurement How you can check: include guard height, thickness and clearance in your drawing review.
Page 8. CHAIN · CROSS ROD The chain and rod dimensions are visible on the assembly The buyer's check: the side drive must match the intended equipment. What we checked The project drawings specify 31.75 mm chain pitch and 6 mm cross rods. These features are measured in the shipment photographs. Chain-pitch measurement Cross-rod diameter measurement How you can check: review chain pitch, roller geometry, rods and sprocket information together.
Page 9. FIRST ARTICLE · SHIPMENT A roller dimension is recorded at both stages The buyer's check: measurement records should be traceable to the same feature. What we recorded The drawing specifies a 19.05 mm roller diameter. First-article and shipment photographs both record the roller check, giving the buyer two stages to review against the agreed drawing. Roller measurement in the first-article records Roller measurement in the shipment records How you can check: compare the records with the agreed tolerance; a displayed measurement alone is not an acceptance decision.
Page 10. YOUR NEXT PROJECT The records your team can review before ordering Different decision-makers need different evidence from the same project. Review role What to confirm for your order Next step Your maintenance team Confirm width, belt geometry and existing equipment. Drawing review Your equipment designer Review the belt and its drive interface together. Interface review Your quality team Agree inspection points, tolerances and required material documents. Evidence agreed Your purchasing team Confirm variants, lengths and delivery requirements per order. Order review Your distributor or service team Link every photo and drawing to the correct belt variant. Clear handover Next step: send drawings and equipment details. Photos support preliminary review.
