Page 2. BEFORE WE SHIP What we check before shipment 1 Surface residueInspect the mesh and rod junctions. Clean and recheck residue. 2 Wipe checkA wipe can reveal residue. Reinspect after cleaning. 3 Roller finishReplace rough rollers and recheck free rotation where rollers apply. 4 Pitch methodUse consistent reference points across ten pitches and compare the average. 5 WidthConfirm the drawing width and its measurement reference. 6 Cross rodsMeasure rod diameter independently of the eye-link spacing. 7 Rod endsReview washers and rod-end connections against the drawing. 8 ReinforcementCompare the reinforcement arrangement with the agreed belt layout. 9 Rod pitchRecord the pitch for the specific chain-edge configuration. 1–4: quality reference examples. 5–9: project inspection records. Reference examples show inspection topics, not defects attributed to the projects in this book.
Page 3. WHAT BUYERS ASK Five questions answered by actual order records 3 projects, shown through drawings and manufacturing photographs. Buyer question What this casebook shows Pages How is the link structure defined? A panel layout with its own reinforcement and rod checks. 5–7 Can a chain edge be documented? Chain assembly, rod pitch and finished-belt photographs. 8–9 How are two wide belts distinguished? Separate drawings and measured width records. 10–11 Do similar belts share every dimension? Different rod pitches remain separate in one order. 12 What should my team send? Drawings, operating details and the existing belt interface. 13–14 Quality checks: page 2. Our manufacturing process: page 4. Project records follow.
Page 4. OUR PROCESS From drawing review to inspection and packing Our order controls. The following cases show the available project records. # Stage What we do What you receive or approve 1 Project review Review drawings, application and equipment interfaces. Questions to confirm 2 Specification Confirm dimensions, material and supply scope. Agreed specification 3 Drawing approval Use the approved drawing revision for manufacture. Your drawing approval 4 Trial and first article Trial production, then first-article confirmation. First-article records 5 Production Manufacture to the approved drawing and first article. Production records 6 Final inspection 100% final inspection before packaging. Agreed inspection records 7 Inner protection Apply protection appropriate to the material and order. Packing requirements 8 Outer packing Check the package, identification and dispatch documents. Packing and dispatch records For formal replacement: physical old belt, available drawings and equipment details, followed by remeasurement and structural review.
Page 5. PROJECT 1 · PANEL STRUCTURE A 1,100 mm belt with a defined reinforcement layout The buyer's check: the width alone does not define the internal support structure. What we made The project drawing specifies a SUS304 eye-link belt, four panels and five bar-link sets. The photographs show the assembled structure and its width measurement. Assembled eye-link belt from the first-article records Width reference photographed on the first article How you can check: compare panel count and reinforcement positions with your equipment drawing.
Page 6. PROJECT 1 · LINK AND ROD Link spacing and cross rods receive separate checks The buyer's check: open area and structural dimensions need their own references. What we checked This drawing specifies 4 mm eye-link pitch and 5 mm cross rods. The first-article photographs record both features on the assembled belt. Eye-link pitch measurement Cross-rod diameter measurement How you can check: identify which drawing dimension each close-up is intended to verify.
Page 7. PROJECT 1 · EDGE ASSEMBLY The edge connection can be reviewed before dispatch The buyer's check: a general belt view can hide retention and reinforcement details. What we recorded The project includes washer-welded edges and reinforcing bars. The close-up shows the rod-end arrangement; the wider view shows how it forms part of the belt. Rod-end and washer details in the shipment records Reinforcement and link arrangement in the shipment records How you can check: request both an edge close-up and an overall view of the same belt.
Page 8. PROJECT 2 · CHAIN EDGE A 1,750 mm eye-link belt with chain edges The buyer's check: the chain interface must be specified alongside the mesh. What we made This separate order specifies a SUS304 eye-link belt with 1,750 mm overall width, chain edges and central reinforcing bars. The manufactured belt is shown alongside its width check. Manufactured chain-edge eye-link belt Overall-width check from the shipment photographs How you can check: review the complete belt width and side-chain arrangement together.
Page 9. PROJECT 2 · PITCH AND CONNECTION The chain arrangement is visible at the belt edge The buyer's check: matching a belt requires more than a similar mesh appearance. What we checked The drawing specifies 25.4 mm rod and chain pitch. The first-article record shows the rod-pitch measurement; the shipment view shows the assembled chain connection. Assembled side chain and connecting rods Rod-pitch measurement in the first-article photo set How you can check: confirm chain dimensions, rod pitch and sprocket information before selection.
Page 10. PROJECT 3 · TWO WIDE VARIANTS Two wide belts, each supported by its own drawing The buyer's check: wide variants need separate dimensional records. What we made The order specifies two SUS304 eye-link belts: 2,582 mm overall width at 85 m, and 2,052 mm overall width at 92 m. Each variant has a separate technical drawing and photo record. The wider variant in the order photo records The second variant in the same order How you can check: keep each belt variant linked to its drawing and inspection photographs.
Page 11. PROJECT 3 · WIDTH REFERENCES Overall width and useful width are different references The buyer's check: an isolated ruler image needs a clear measurement definition. What we recorded The two drawings distinguish overall, chain-centre and useful widths. The photographs show overall-width measurements on the two manufactured variants. Overall-width measurement on the 2,582 mm variant Overall-width measurement on the 2,052 mm variant How you can check: name the width reference explicitly when you send dimensions or an old belt.
Page 12. PROJECT 3 · DIFFERENT ROD PITCHES Similar-looking variants retain different rod pitches The buyer's check: two belts in one project may have different drive geometry. What we checked The wider variant specifies 76.2 mm rod pitch; the other specifies 50 mm. Both measurements appear in the project photographs, alongside separate sprocket drawings. 76.2 mm rod-pitch check on one variant 50 mm rod-pitch check on the other variant How you can check: review the belt and corresponding sprocket drawing as one identified set.
Page 13. YOUR NEXT PROJECT The records your team can review before ordering Different decision-makers need different evidence from the same project. Review role What to confirm for your order Next step Your maintenance team Confirm width, belt geometry and existing equipment. Drawing review Your equipment designer Review the belt and its drive interface together. Interface review Your quality team Agree inspection points, tolerances and required material documents. Evidence agreed Your purchasing team Confirm variants, lengths and delivery requirements per order. Order review Your distributor or service team Link every photo and drawing to the correct belt variant. Clear handover Next step: send drawings and equipment details. Photos support preliminary review.
