In-House High-Tensile Wire Drawing — Quality from the Source
YIYI Mesh Belt draws all conveyor belt wire in-house from raw stainless steel rod. Tensile strength controlled at 1,200 MPa - significantly higher than standard commercial wire. This means stronger welds, longer belt service life, and consistent mechanical properties across every production run.

Corrosion-Resistant Grades
Higher molybdenum content - significantly better resistance to chlorides, salt brine, acidic marinades, and aggressive CIP chemicals. SUS316 is the standard carbon variant; SUS316L (low-carbon) offers superior weldability and intergranular corrosion resistance after welding. Both available. Recommended for seafood, marinated products, and high-washdown environments.

Six mandatory checkpoints. Turning belts include additional radius measurement and run-test video before packing.

Wire IQC — Alloy & Tensile
XRF alloy gun verifies every incoming wire coil. Tensile test confirms 1,200 MPa minimum. No production on non-conforming material.
Link Formation Check
Wire loop geometry and pitch uniformity verified against drawing specification before assembly begins. Pitch measured at multiple points.

Frequently Asked Questions

SUS304, SUS316, and SUS316L: No minimum order quantity — any quantity, any width. SUS302: 500 kg minimum due to the custom wire drawing run required. Sample review is available for all grades before bulk production when required — 7–14 working days at production cost for standard pitch and wire diameter combinations. Engineering review supports each custom specification.
Standard grades: SUS304, SUS316, SUS316L, SUS302. Custom grades available on request. All wire is drawn in-house on YIYI Mesh Belt’s self-developed drawing equipment to 1,200 MPa tensile strength — higher than standard commercial wire. Higher tensile strength means stronger controlled welds, better resistance to belt elongation under load, and longer service life in high-cycle food processing applications.
Left-turn and right-turn radius belts are mirror images of each other. The inner radius (smaller pitch) is on opposite sides. They are not interchangeable — a left-turn belt cannot be installed in a right-turn conveyor. Always specify the direction on your drawing or enquiry. For conveyor systems with both L and R turns, order each configuration separately.
SUS316 and SUS316L both contain molybdenum which gives them superior corrosion resistance over SUS304. The key difference: SUS316L is the low-carbon variant (carbon ≤0.03% vs ≤0.08% for SUS316). SUS316L has better weldability and resists intergranular corrosion after welding - important for robotic-welded conveyor belts in aggressive environments. Choose SUS316 for general corrosion-resistant applications (salt, seafood, acid marinades). Choose SUS316L when the belt will face repeated CIP washdown with chloride-based chemicals and weld-zone integrity is critical. Both grades outperform SUS304 in any chloride or brine environment.
Yes. Send existing sprocket specifications, drawings, or photos (or send the worn sprocket itself). We match tooth pitch, profile, bore diameter, and thickness to your current drive system. Sprockets available in SUS304 stainless steel and UHMWPE food-processing polymer. For radius turning systems, we supply coordinated inner and outer sprocket sets together with the belt.
Every radius Open-Link Belt undergoes: (1) inner turning radius measurement on the finished belt — photographed and documented; (2) belt-on-sprocket run test — video recorded showing the belt tracking correctly; (3) run-test video sent to customer for confirmation before packing. This is standard procedure for all radius belt orders — no additional charge.
